Who should apply to be a Charterhouse Malaysia Student?

Charterhouse Malaysia seeks exceptional students who excel academically, show personal growth, demonstrate leadership, engage with their community, and have transformative potential. Admission is highly competitive, emphasising academic excellence and a minimum standard of 6 grade Bs at IGCSE, SPM, or equivalent for A Level applicants. Complete our online enquiry form with your details. Our admissions team will contact you to equip you with all the information you need.

Step Two
School Tour

School Tour

You will have an opportunity to visit our school and experience Future Ready education. A meeting with the School Leadership Team can also be arranged based on their availability.

Step Three
Application

Application

Submit the application form with required documents to our admissions team. A copy of the application form can be downloaded here. A non-refundable application fee of RM500 will be payable at this time.

Step Four
Assessment & Interview

Assessment & Interview

All applicants are required to undertake the CAT-4 Assessment Test. This is a cognitive test provides the school with data on a student’s potential to succeed at Charterhouse Malaysia.
All applicants will be interviewed by a member of the School Leadership Team. This is an opportunity for us to share our educational philosophy with you and ensure
that you are fully aware of expectations. It is also an opportunity for us to get to know both the parents and students and for them to get to know us.
Should an applicants CAT4 results indicate that the English Language may be a barrier to learning, we will conduct a deeper diagnostic test of the student’s written English. We need to ensure that we can provide the support required for all our students to access the curriculum and excel.

Our decision on admittance is communicated in writing and orally (via telephone or in person) by the admissions team. If a student is offered a place at Charterhouse Malaysia, and this offer is accepted, then a non-refundable registration fee is required to be paid.

Payment of the first Term’s fee is due before the first day of Term. (Subsequent payments, Termly, should be paid before the first day of each Term.
